Enter your postal code and click "search." Choose any geocache from the list and click on its name. Enter the coordinates of the geocache into your GPS Device. Use your GPS device to assist you in finding the hidden geocache. Sign the logbook and return the geocache to its original location. Rules of Geocaching:  If you take something from the geocache (container), leave something of equal or greater value. Learn tips and tricks of running a 5K with trainers from Elite Health & Fitness! It is a nine week course that will begin at the Elite Gym in Stoughton and the trainers will help you learn to run and stay motivated to do so. At the end of the nine weeks test out what you learned and participate in the Stoughton Recreation Department's Halloween Costume 5K. **Registration costs includes entry fee for Halloween Costume 5k**

Join our staff as we venture on multiple field trips to various places to fill our afternoons with fun activities for all to enjoy. The price will include admission and transportation! This area will be located within the park, on a grass surface, and a focal point of this event. It is a nine week course that will begin at the Elite Gym in Stoughton and the trainers will help you learn to run and stay motivated to do so. Flying Away: Why do seeds take flight in the fall and more about plantsPlants give us food, medicine, clothes, and more! During our plant discovery program, we will hear a story about our local plant life cycle and use microscopes to learn about the important role our native plants play in our ecosystems. We will go on a seed and plant scavenger hunt. We will create a clay imprint with seeds and plant materials to take home. Participants will also get to take home seeds to plant that help our pollinators and native plants thrive. Flying and Soaring: The Amazing Journey of Migratory BirdsDuring this program, we will discover the birds who fly thousands of miles each and every year. We will learn about our native birds and how they migrate, discover bird anatomy, and explore the delicate ecosystems that birds contribute to! We will go on a bird scavenger hunt. Create your very own bird print using high quality art materials to decorate and bring home. A Universe of Stories: The Pieces of our PlanetDuring our Planet Discovery program, participants will begin to understand their role in the universe and in our environment. We will listen to a story about the science of planet earth and examine some geological features of our world. We will discover the pieces of our planet through artifacts and the natural world around us! Participants will then get to create their own clay mosaic earth using air dry clay and recycled materials to bring home. Hoot! The Secret Life of OwlsDuring Hoot! The Secret Lives of Owls, you will learn about what owls live in your neighborhood, how owl hoot and make other calls, fly in the dark, and more. Each child and caregiver will listen to a story about owls, hear and sing owl calls, see owl artifacts, and build their own owl out of clay. Each child/caregiver pair will go home with an owl sculpture that they build.

Curious about block printing but not sure how to begin? Be inspired by nature and join the Museum of American Bird Art at Mass Audubon and explore simple printing techniques that can be used on a variety of surfaces. Participants will design, carve, and print one carving block, called speedy cut, inspired by natural forms found in nature! Using the newly carved block, you will create your own prints and take home a handmade card and print. All the materials are provided and you can design your own print or choose a premade design inspired by spring.
